Ford Mustang Lease

The iconic Ford Mustang promises a truly unforgettable drive - and it’s a lease car quite unlike anything else on the market. The all-new, 7th-generation Ford Mustang hit the lease market in 2024, coming with sharper, sleeker, more aggressive exterior styling as well as significant upgrades to the cabin.

Whether you opt for the fastback Coupe or the soul-stirring Convertible, you’re guaranteed to turn heads when behind the wheel of this legendary muscle car.

A thumping 5.0-litre V8 engine comes as standard - as does power of 446 PS and 540 Nm of torque - while you can enjoy manual or automatic transmission, depending on your preference.

Meanwhile the Mustang ‘Dark Horse’ is a range-topping special edition that’s well worth seeking-out.

Not only does the Dark Horse boast more aggressive road presence and added power compared with the regular GT, it also comes with a full suite of performance upgrades designed for track enthusiasts, including Ford’s active ‘MagneRide’ suspension and a Torsen limited-slip diff for optimum traction when you need it most.

Rivals to the Ford Mustang include the BMW M4 Competition Coupe and the Audi RS5 Coupe

Ford Mustang Frequently Asked Questions

Surely the question should be why shouldn’t I lease a Ford Mustang? The answer… well, that one is a little more complex. In essence, anyone who likes American muscle cars should, at least once in their lives, have a Mustang on their driveway. The iconic badge, relaxed but potent performance, and head-turning style just make it a wishlist topper. With the highly competitive deals available through Select Car Leasing, you can make the dream a reality more easily than you might think.

If you’re unsure whether it’s better to lease or to buy your new car, then have a read of our Buying Vs Leasing Guide which details out the main things for you to consider.

Monthly lease rates start at a similar level to more conventional (and less interesting) options such as the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. With no uplift in monthly rates, you can get yourself a 5.0-litre V8-powered muscle car rather than a sensible family hatchback.

By fixing your monthly costs with a lease deal, you’ll get no surprises, no matter how many options you add. And, with our extensive network Select Car Leasing can provide you with what you want at a price you’ll be happy with.

The Ford Mustang has a long and illustrious history, making it instantly recognisable and, for many, highly desirable. With strong, aggressive styling and a 5.0-litre V8 engine that growls to announce its presence, everything else pales in comparison.

The Mustang GT boasts a limited-slip differential and selectable driving modes for switching between every day and track day requirements. The uprated Mustang Mach 1 offers adaptive suspension system that is uniquely calibrated for the Mach 1.

With Ford Sync 3 fitted as standard across all models, you can connect seamlessly to your phone, accessing music and navigation with voice commands via Bluetooth or bot Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You can relax and enjoy the experience too, while being cossetted within the sports seats, which are also fitted as standard.

There’s plenty of safety equipment fitted to the Ford Mustang as standard, including electronic stability control, pre-collision assist systems and both lane departure warnings and lane-keeping aids. With six-way power-adjustable seats, you can make sure that your driving position puts you in the best possible position, making your driving experience easier and safer.

There are ISOFIX points in the rear of the Mustang, but it’s an unlikely choice as a family car. There is a reasonably sized boot, though - you’d certainly fit a bit of luggage, your shopping or a set of golf clubs, so everything is right with the world!

There are just two trim options for the Ford Mustang - the Mustang GT(also available as a convertible) and the track-ready Mustang Mach 1. If you’re looking for some style and fun with a beautiful purr, or to feel the wind in your hair, then the Mustang GT is likely to offer what you’re looking for. If you’re a track fan, or you want just that little extra something, the Mustang Mach 1 is the way to go.

I had a great experience and good customer service from Garry Rahman, from the moment I enquired for a car quotation to delivery. He is professional, respectful and answered all my questions very patiently. There was no pressure to take a decision in haste which I really liked. He explained all my options clearly and made the entire car buying experience smooth and hassle free. I definitely recommend Garry to anyone who is looking to buy a car. Thank you Garry.

This is the third lease company I’ve used, but in terms of the ordering process, the communication, the documentation and the speed of delivery I would have to place Select first for customer service. I also secured a great price (for a Hyundai Tucson) as well as having the flexibility of not needing to pay a deposit, which made the deal very attractive. However, I’m fully aware that you can’t truly judge a car leasing company until the end of the contract when the car is being returned, as that is what genuinely separates one leasing company from another. On that basis, my rating is based on the relationship to date. The delivery of the car itself was one area where I have experienced a superior service from another lease company. The company in question would deliver their cars on a transporter so the cars were delivered to my house in immaculate condition with something like 20 miles on the clock. The car I received a few days ago was driven about 100 miles to my home, on a rainy day in December, so it was handed over to me dirty. A relatively minor point.
